Pottery Wheel Work

GLORY through art & language

What is the chief end of man?

to glorify God, and to enjoy Him forever

At Doxa—“glory” in Koine Greek—we come together to magnify the Lord while enjoying His creativity. Join in as we explore, create, and grow in our understanding of Him.

POTTERY

Pottery throwing is a hands-on skill that channels kids’ wiggles into something creative while keeping their minds fully engaged. Both energizing and calming, the spinning wheel invites movement, focus, and fun for all ages. With one-on-one guidance, your child will love the feel of the clay and create their own unique, functional pieces.

HANDBUILDING

Handbuilding is a joyful, hands-on way for kids to direct their energy while letting their creativity shine. Each project becomes a reflection of their unique ideas, strengths, and interests. We’ll introduce fun techniques and simple methods, while giving your child plenty of freedom to explore, imagine, and make something truly their own.

why
KOINE GREEK?

Koine Greek—meaning “common” Greek—is the original language of the New Testament. Learning to understand Scripture in its earliest form can deepen and enrich a child’s connection to the Word of God in a powerful way. Introducing this language at a young age helps build a strong foundation for lifelong study, giving your child tools to engage with Scripture thoughtfully, confidently, and with greater insight as they grow in the Word.
