KOINE GREEK

Unlike modern Greek spoken today, Koine Greek (“common” Greek) was the form of writing used in most ancient documents in the Roman Greco world from around 400 BC to 600 AD. Why do we care about it today? It was the chosen original language for the New Testament, Apolistic Fathers, and Josephus.
