Meet Bekah

(Founder and Teacher)

M.A. of Biblical Languages: Linguistics and TESL, Liberty University

B.A. of Biblical Studies: Global Studies, Liberty University

It all began with recognizing the need for a place where children can learn in a safe, theocentric environment. Growing up in a traditional brick-and-mortar school, I learned to cultivate creativity in my own thinking. That experience shaped my desire to help students become intrinsically motivated—encouraging them to challenge themselves as they explore new skills, especially in art and language.

I was raised in the art room—with a mom as an art teacher, throwing pottery, experimenting with materials, and learning to problem solve through creativity. Creating with my hands became second nature, and that foundation continues to shape the way I teach today.

During my undergraduate studies, I developed a deep love for Koine Greek. In my graduate work, that love expanded into a passion for teaching, as I discovered that others can share in the joy of learning this rich and meaningful language.

For the past several years, I have had the privilege of serving families through teaching and directing kids ministry in the local church. Now, I am excited to launch Doxa—a ministry facing families, dedicated to glorifying God through cultivating creativity, working with our hands, and guiding young minds in both art and language.

It is a true joy and privilege to teach your children, all unto the glory—doxa—of God.
