Service Description
For kiddos in ages 6-12. This playful clay hand-building course invites children to learn through doing—using their hands to explore, create, and discover. In a calm, supportive environment, students will build confidence and independence as they practice simple techniques like pinch, coil, and join. Our projects include (different from June!!): Garden Gnome: we will be crafting a whimsical and imaginative figurine for the garden or inside the house! Slab pot: personalized slab pots using technique of only using rolled out clay to form a pot that can hold their favorite plants or treasures, the possibilities are endless! Rattles: Kids will learn to mold playful rattles from pinch pots, a classic pottery technique that will excite and entertain. Ocean-themed or floral plaques: Rich in intricate textures and details, allowing their creativity to truly shine. Students will complete course with four projects, likely ready to take home two weeks after final course for a final fire in the kiln! With a ratio of 1:8, your child will have the ability to ask thoughtful questions with direct instruction and the independence to build their own creation!
