Service Description

For kiddos in ages 6-12. This playful clay hand-building course invites children to learn through doing—using their hands to explore, create, and discover. In a calm, supportive environment, students will build confidence and independence as they practice simple techniques like pinch, coil, and join. Our projects include: Sink Monster – turning an ordinary form into a silly creature while learning basic shaping and attaching Coil Pot – stacking and spiraling clay to create a beautiful, functional vessel Great Alaskan Fish — kids will create a salmon (or fun fish of their choice) and using different textures and attaching techniques, create a funky fish plaque! Students will complete course with three projects, likely ready to take home two weeks after final course for a final fire in the kiln! With a ratio of 1:8, your child will have the ability to ask thoughtful questions and the independence to build their own creation!
