Service Description
Calling all kids! This course introduces elementary (7-12 ages) to Koine Greek, letting them explore and soak up the language at a young age! Your student must be able to read and write in English before taking this course. Students will, at a slower pace, learn the Greek alphabet, pronunciation, vocabulary, nouns, verbs, and basic sentences in Ancient Greek. Taught by Bekah (M.A. in Biblical Languages: Linguistics, Liberty University) Course Details: * When: Wednesdays at 10:00 AM, August 18 – November 19 (no class during Thanksgiving week) * Where: Mountain City Church * Who: Kids ages 8-12, must be able to read and write in English * Required Resources: Peter Rabbit and Other Stories in Koine Greek by Gary T. Manning By the end of the semester, kids will be able to read and write simple Greek, preparing them for Koine Kids!
